The Haga Defense Bren 2 Factory Stock - Brace Adapter enables direct mounting of Tailhook-style pistol braces to the factory CZ Bren 2 stock, providing a lightweight, low-profile brace option without replacing the entire stock system. Available in Type 1 (for Standard Bren 2 stock) and Type 2 (for Bren 2 BR stock) variants.

Installation Instructions

Type 1 (Standard Bren 2 Stock)

1. Safety First: Before beginning installation, make sure the firearm is completely unloaded, the chamber is empty, and the safety is engaged. Remove the magazine, visually and physically inspect the chamber to confirm it is empty, and point the firearm in a safe direction at all times.
2. Use a 5/32" punch to knock out the pin that runs side to side through the center of your factory CZ stock. This will allow the adjustable portion of the buttstock to be completely removed.
3. Once the buttstock has been removed, insert the adapter and check for side to side play or "wiggle". Some parts will fit tight as is but some may not. If your part has some play in it, remove it and slightly loosen the preinstalled set screws with a 1/8" hex wrench. Reinstall and repeat the process until you achieve the desired fit.
4. Reinstall the factory pin.

Type 2 (Bren 2 BR Stock)

1. Safety First: Before beginning installation, make sure the firearm is completely unloaded, the chamber is empty, and the safety is engaged. Remove the magazine, visually and physically inspect the chamber to confirm it is empty, and point the firearm in a safe direction at all times.
2. To remove the adjustable buttstock you must first remove the factory cheek riser which is locking it in place. Push the pin in the cheek riser to the side until it stops (it will not come all the way out). With the stock in the folded position, slide the cheek riser forward then lift it up and off.
3. Remove the factory buttstock.
4. Remove the preinstalled screw from the brace adapter with a T20 Torx bit or wrench.
5. Press the brace adapter into the factory stock until fully seated.
6. Reinstall the Torx screw. This will hold the adapter in place.
7. Reinstall the cheek riser.
