The Patented Tailhook MOD 1C is 30% lighter and 30% more compact than or standard Mod 1. With a profile similar to the SCW Tailhook it truly is the most compact pistol brace on the market today. At less than an inch thick, it can be adapted to practically every platform on the market. To activate the brace functionality, depress the release button and pull the arm down. This creates the shelf that will counterbalance the muzzle weight of your large frame handgun. The ability of your forearm to hold the weight allows you to relax your shooting wrist and concentrate on trigger control. True one handed operation is achieved since you do not need a second hand to attach the brace to your arm. MOD 1C can be set up for right or left handed operation.

Great product and service!
Couldn’t find this Tailhook in stock anywhere. I came across Haga Defense showing them available, and since I hadn’t purchased from them before, I reached out to confirm they were actually in stock and ready to ship. To my surprise, I got a reply from the owner almost immediately confirming they were. My order shipped the next day and arrived a day later. Really happy with the Tailhook and very impressed with the service from Haga Defense. Looks great on my MP5 build.

Tailhook mod 1c…wow!
After seeing this in person, I don’t know why any others are even made. Holy crap. Not only so easily deployed, but a really good platform…sturdy. Quality materials/manufactured. Only thing is that there is a QD hole on the side, which I’m just a bit hesitant about using. It’s just that the hook is held in place by screws that tighten around the brace’s end. And not that they screw into anything. So I’m just a little worried that it could come loose if it was dropped repeatedly, and only suspended there. Otherwise, BUY IT…!

I think the best option
I recently purchased the tail hook MOD 1C after I purchased the tail hook MOD C. I honestly like the overall look of the MOD 1C better and the feel is a very good stock like feel. A highly recommended item for the pistol brace.
