Digital file for creating a plug to fill the gap when mounting a 1913 MBT stock on an SIG Spear.
While the MBT Stock for 1913 Rails will fit the SIG Spear there are a few issues both visually and functionally. This plug will fix the visual issue but the functionality problems (listed below) will remain.
This product is intended for use by those with access to 3D printing or other manufacturing. A physical part is currently not available.
- If the cheek riser is raised at all it will prevent the charging handle from being pulled back all the way.
- The forward assist will prevent the stock from completely folding. It will still slightly catch and lock folded but may wear over time and not lock at all.
NOTE: This was designed for the Spear LT. I cannot confirm that it will fit the older MCX or MPX correctly.

SIG SPEAR PLUG FOR MBT STOCK (DIGITAL)
I didn't have a 3d printer so I asked on a FB 3d printing page if anyone could print this for me. I got 3 offers right off the bat. They didn't charge much or anything at all, just shipping for the part. It took from 1/2 - 1 hr to print from what I was told. The actual product was basically the same with all 3. I had all 3 do it as they were nice enough to offer and they were cheap. So, I have 2 spares in case they break. This is something SIG should have done out the gate, but thanks to the firearms community there's a solution to most anything and they think outside the box unlike the Firearm Co themselves. Dan was awesome and chatted with me directly when I had a quick question.
