HK G36 AR Trigger Housing

Product Description

The Haga Defense G36 Trigger Housing is a replacement lower receiver for the HK G36 that accepts AR15 triggers*, safety selectors, and grips. Machined from 6061 aluminum with a hardcoat anodized black finish, this drop-in upgrade includes a built-in steel bolt catch/release assembly for reliable function and enhanced ergonomics.

Compatibility and Installation Notes

• Compatible with HK G36 platforms (fits HK, S5 & TommyBuilt)
• Will NOT work with .22 LR variants. 
• Direct replacement for factory trigger housing
• Uses AR15-compatible triggers*, safeties, and grips*
• Beavertail on some AR grips will need to be trimmed to fit. Works best with flat top grips
• No permanent modifications required
• Bolt catch retainer screws are M2x8 (T6 drive size)

TRIGGER Compatibility

While this housing is designed to work with AR-15 triggers, not all triggers may be compatible. It has been found that some triggers use a longer hammer which will catch on the recoil spring inside of the gun causing light strikes or no strike at all. See image below. 

“Rapid-fire” triggers and devices are banned here in Maryland. Function of FRTs, Super Safety, binary triggers, and similar devices has not been tested and cannot be confirmed to work. Use of these devices is at your own risk.

Installation Instructions

1. Safety First: Before beginning installation, make sure the firearm is completely unloaded, the chamber is empty, and the safety is engaged. Remove the magazine, visually and physically inspect the chamber to confirm it is empty, and point the firearm in a safe direction at all times.
