Installation Instructions
- Safety First: Before beginning installation, make sure the firearm is completely unloaded, the chamber is empty, and the safety is engaged. Remove the magazine, visually and physically inspect the chamber to confirm it is empty, and point the firearm in a safe direction at all times.
- Close the bolt.
- Remove the front disassembly pin.
- Remove the rear disassembly pin.
- Remove the pistol grip with the magazine well.
- Press the stock disassembly button fully and remove the rear head by sliding it downwards.
- Slide the 1913 Adapter up into the receiver until it locks into place. You will need to press in on the recoil spring assembly to allow the Adapter to slide all the way up into the receiver. Using a punch or similar tool may make this easier.
- Reassemble
NOTE: Once installed, this first release of adapters may have some wiggle. This can be corrected with the included shim. Using a T25 torx wrench or bit remove the screw holding in the rear sling bracket. Install the included shim between the upper receiver and the sling bracket. Tighten the torx screw down and reinstall the Adapter. The wiggle should be gone with the shim installed.
NOTE: To remove the adaper the 1913 end plate will need to be unscrewed and removed to access the factory takedown button.
