DESCRIPTION:
This is the Haga Defense B&T MBT Stock made for mounting to 1913/picatinny rails but with some extras to make it work better with the SIG MCX and Spear LT.
Kit includes a nylon plug that will fill the void left between the stock and the grip and a SIG Low Profile Deflector which will allow the stock to fold completely. It will otherwise be blocked from folding by the factory deflector/forward assist. Your rifle will no longer have a forward assist with this option.
WARNING: When the stock is locked in the folded position, lift the stock upward on the hinge to unlock it before unfolding. Failure to do so can result in damage to the hinge. Haga Defense will not accept returns due to damaged hinges.
FEATURES:
- 6061 Aluminum adapter - Hard coat anodized
- 8 position length adjustment
- Telescoping cheek riser w/ 3 position height adjustment
- Folds to the right canted downward 3.5 degrees
- Locks folded
- Fires folded
- 4 QD sling mount options
- Available in Black or Coyote Tan
Stock: Made in Switzerland
Adapter: Made in the USA
NOTICE: Raising the cheek riser will block the charging handle from functioning. If you need to raise the cheek riser it will need to be lowered or the stock folded to operate the charging handle. Cheek riser is quickly and easily be adjusted with one hand.
CAUTION: Many States and localities regulate the use and/or possession of collapsible and folding stocks. Use, or possession of this product in conjunction with certain other parts, may be illegal in some jurisdictions. It is YOUR responsibility to insure your use of this product is in compliance with all Federal, State and local laws and regulations. This is NOT a pistol brace.
COLOR NOTE:
Curious about how B&T's "Coyote Tan" looks compared to your standard "FDE"? See the image below. The "Coyote Tan" MBT stock is shown next to parts colored in "Magpul FDE". As you can see the Coyote Tan is a little lighter than FDE and may not be a perfect match to other FDE components if that's what you're hoping for.

One of the most aesthetically pleasing stock/adapters available for the Spear LT
Someone has always never looked right with skeleton stocks to me honestly. I've always wanted something that could replicate a similar look to the SCAR Ugg Boot or classic ACR stock while still being able to fold. Not only does this do the job, it looks amazing while doing so. The positives like having adjustments while being able to fold outweigh most of the cons. You do have to replace the deflector with a low profile one but no one really uses their forward assist honestly. You just remove two hex screws and a roll pin and transfer it over. Easy as that. Lockup is solid on the custom adapter and the nylon plug fixes the gap issue with just only having the stock as the 1913 plug on the MCX is shorter than the adapter. Pros - Aesthetically pleasing. Skeleton stocks don't do it for me and this is by far on the top of my list of best looking aesthetics with the Spear LT. - The stock allows for great length adjustments while still being thin enough to be folded flat against the rifle unlike traditional stocks. - There is absolutely no wobbling or play when the stock in unfolded. Durable and rugged feeling that you feel like you could trust. Firing the rifle with the MBT feels good and there's no issue with lack of cheek weld. - Just a personal thing but I love when FDE (the stock is Coyote Tan) never matches. It's very difficult to color match consistently from batch to batch and even more so with different materials. It's very similar to BCM's FDE and similar to B5's FDE. Cons (most cons are already addressed on the product page and 99% of these are non-issues personally) - Genuinely wished the stock would be able to be thrown open from the folded position but it's not that big of a deal. I'm sure you could with enough force but the stock/adapter doesn't feel like it was naturally intended to move that way and risk of damage is possible real. - The cheek riser issue is also mentioned in the description when using it on the Spear LT/similar AR180 like platforms. - There is a bit of wobbling/play in the stock when folded.
