The LEAP/10 is a state-of-the-art Aimpoint Duty RDS mount designed for shooters who want the lightest, strongest, and most compact quick-detach red dot sight mount possible. It redefines the standard for mounting Aimpoint CompM5s footprint compatible optics to an AR-15's Picatinny top rail. Available in 1.57-inch and 1.93-inch optic heights, Leap mounts hold and return to zero under any condition, guaranteed. Engineered to be the lightest Aimpoint Duty RDS quick-detach mount without compromising strength, it is precision CNC machined from all six sides out of a single piece of 7075-T6 Aluminum billet for the ideal strength-to-weight ratio. It is the strongest Aimpoint Duty RDS Quick-Detach mount tested, refined through digital testing up to 1500 pounds of force and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for optimal performance. The mount features a highly efficient clamp design with an oversize hooded thru-hole, maximum diameter thumbscrew shank for Picatinny channel fit, and a pair of hardened steel precision ground pins as guides. It includes a low-profile ClickDrive quick-detach mechanism that is symmetrical, protrudes less than 7mm from either side of the Picatinny rail, eliminates snag hazards, and requires only hand torque for secure attachment with a recoil-proof integrated spring-loaded ball-detent.
