The LEAP/04 is a state-of-the-art Trijicon RMR mount, designed to be the lightest, strongest, and most compact quick-detach red dot sight mount available. It redefines the standard for mounting Trijicon RMR footprint compatible optics to AR-15 Picatinny top rails, available in 1.57-inch and 1.93-inch optic heights. Precision CNC machined from a single piece of 7075-T6 Aluminum billet on all six sides for an optimal strength-to-weight ratio, it outperforms 6061-T6 alternatives. The LEAP/04 guarantees holding and returning to zero under any condition, backed by the One Zero guarantee.
Weighing just 45-48 grams, the LEAP/04 is the lightest Trijicon RMR quick-detach mount without sacrificing strength—47% the weight of LaRue LT827 (68g) and 69% of American Defense Mfg AD-RMR-SOCOM (99g), measured under identical conditions with hardware for Trijicon RM06 in lower-third co-witness. It is the strongest Trijicon RMR quick-detach mount tested on a digital test stand up to 1500 pounds of force. The design was refined through Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and dozens of stress tests for maximum efficiency.
The LEAP/04 features a low-profile, snag-free design with no protruding levers or knobs, symmetrical and extending less than 7mm from either side of the Picatinny rail. Its ClickDrive quick-detach mechanism uses a low-profile thumbscrew and low-friction telescoping clamp, requiring only bare-hand torque for secure, recoil-proof attachment via an integrated spring-loaded ball-detent. The clamp includes an oversized hooded thru-hole and hardened steel precision-ground pins for precise operation and rigidity.
