KelTec RDB17 Flared Magwell

I sincerely did not expect this flared magwell to make such a giant improvement to the RDB. I picked it up because I noticed my mag changes were pretty slow and I kept getting caught up in the feed lips unless I moved the rifle to look-but I didn't love that. The flared magwell made a huge difference in giving me just big enough of a hit target for the magazines to do blindly-keeping eyes on target-and the angle also good to re-orient a magazine trying to go in at an angle that would otherwise bind up. The Keltec flared magwell option probably performs just as well as this part at half the price, but the fit of this one is just so much better, making use of more anchor points to secure it and taking in the contours of the rifle way better than Kel-Tec's option. If this was 20-30% cheaper, I'd say there would be 0 reason to ever consider the option Kel-Tec sells.

Short form- Perfect! You need this for your RDB! Extended form- This was a reccomended upgrade on the KTOG forum, and they were right. This takes the rather difficult opening of the magwell, and makes it an ease to change mags. The build quality is very good- it's solid, still quite light, and mounting it took quite literally less than a minute. Fit was perfect. Heck- it took a LOT longer to find my allen wrench set than it did to install the part. I will be ordering further parts from Haga Defense without hesitation.

This thing is what should have come on the rifle in the first place. Looks like it belongs there, unlike the afterthought looking part KelTec is selling on their webpage. It looks as if this one has two anchor points to the one of the KelTec one as well. This thing makes mag changes go from marginal with the stock magwell to terrific with this part attached. You don't even have to look. WELL worth the price. Just buy one, full stop, end of story.

Treat your RDB and your shoulder to a very nice upgrade. Super easy to install and just beefs up the stock buttpad. There is an installation video on YouTube that covers the buttpad, Saftey Selector and enhanced magwell. All are pretty easy to install...took me about 10 min to install all 3 parts. I really like the magwell, mags really go in with zero issue and effort. Best upgrade I could do for my Kel Tec RDB

This magwell is made well and fit perfectly. Just what I was looking for.

Was surprised at how perfectly this fits. Much better engineered than the one KT offers - I don't expect to have any issues with durability.

This should have been on the gun from Kel-Tec. Magazine placement and changes are greatly enhanced in a positive manner. Feels more natural with no “searching” for lock or engagement. Haha Defense has another real world working solution that makes sense to purchase. You need this if you own a RDB.

Awesome part!!!!! Fit was perfect and it came with EVERYTHING needed for installation. Must have addition, I can't believe the rifle came without this, makes reloads 100 times faster and easier. With miminal practice you can do reloads without looking. If you own a RDB you need this magwell!!!!!
