Installation Instructions
- Safety First: Before beginning installation, make sure the firearm is completely unloaded, the chamber is empty, and the safety is engaged. Remove the magazine, visually and physically inspect the chamber to confirm it is empty, and point the firearm in a safe direction at all times.
- Loosen the three screws on the new magwell with the included mounting hardware until the two halves separate enough to fit over the factory magwell.
- Position the magwell so the top fits tight against the bottom of the factory magwell (no gap).
- Carefully tighten the three screws until there is no gap between the halves or between the part and the gun.
- Note: Rubber heat shrink tubing on attachment points protects the finish and allows fitting adjustments. It can be further heated/shrunk for tighter fits or removed if needed (removing may cause finish damage).

Perfect fit for HKSP5 and drums!
Just installed the Flared magwell for my HKSP5 and it fir perfectly with no adjustments or milling. Once I installed it, I tested 30 round mags and 50 round drums, which all fit exactly! If you haven't gone one for your SP5, you need one!

MP5/MP5K Flared Magwell
The product is well designed, to include padding on areas to connect to the weapon (preventing scratching on the gun). I have no doubt that more would be sold if the price would be more customer friendly. Nevertheless, awesome product.

Mag well on AP5-P
Product is made very well, however, it required fitting on my AP5P clone. I had to Dremel the exterior of my mag well to allow this to fit and seat correctly on the firearm. Thank good I had gun blue to clean it up. After getting it on and being happy, the magazine would not lock into place so I had had to Dremel the interior of the Haga mag well it self to make room for the magazine to seat. I have read that others have had this same issue. The rear screw housing does interfere with the full motion of the magazine release paddle which I wish was not the case but the mag does seem to seat and eject so but I may modify the paddle in order to bring the operation back to a more comfortable level for me personally. Again, well made product but there are issues with it that will need to be addressed on the AP5P.

MP5 Flared Magwell
This feels hard to recommend, but I love the concept. It's small, effectively funnels your mags, and (best of all) doesn't ruin the aesthetic. However, it made locking my mags in much more difficult. Instead of watching myself insert a mag, I now have to consciously yank back on the magazine to seat it, and even then it is extremely tight. Also, the flapper hits the rear screw housing and it feels like it barely releases at times. I think the solution may be sanding down the back of the flared magwell where it may be touching the magazine, a new design with the rear screw directly under the gun's magazine well and therefore further from the flapper, or moving the screws to the sides rather than front and rear. I'll work with mine for now, interested in a gen 2.
