Product Description
Handguard replaces about 5" of dead space on your Kel-Tec CMR-30 with add length of picatinny rail, M-LOK® slots on the sides and bottom, QD sling mounting points and most importantly a much improved foreword grip position. This kit also replaces the factory bottom picatinny rail with M-LOK® slots.
This part is manufactured from Nylon using a process called Multi Jet Fusion or MJF. The parts are then sandblasted, dyed and shotpeened for a strength and finish that is comparable to injection molded nylon. The part is black throughout.
Installation: To install remove the lower picatinny rail and the factory barrel block. This handguard mounts by replacing the factory barrel block which provides a very solid mount. The handguard slides over the barrel using high temp o-rings just like the factory barrel block. The top screw on your barrel block will be re-used in the same position. The others will be replaced with those included in the kit. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THESE SCREWS! They are threaded into nylon and will strip easily. They don't need to be very tight.

Short handguard fits good, looks great!
The short guard looks and definitely feels even better in person than you think it would, and if your reading this that means you want to buy it already. Go for it! Just be ready to possibly have to put the o-ring back into place when installing. Mine fell out a few times when passing the barrel during install. The fit was tight and one of the screws (for the most forward bottom of the mlok portion that replaces Picatinny bottom) didn’t seem to be long enough but I was able to reuse the original Allen screws to fit it nice and snug. Overall I’m very pleased with my purchase and I can’t wait to receive my other Cmr30 add-ons.
