The Haga Defense Extended M-LOK Handguard (Short) for the KelTec CMR-30 replaces the factory handguard, eliminating roughly 5" of dead space with added length of Picatinny rail on top, M-LOK slots on the sides and bottom, QD sling mounting points, and a much improved forward grip position. This kit also replaces the factory bottom Picatinny rail with M-LOK slots for a modern, functional upgrade.

Installation Instructions
- Safety First: Before beginning installation, make sure the firearm is completely unloaded, the chamber is empty, and the safety is engaged. Remove the magazine, visually and physically inspect the chamber to confirm it is empty, and point the firearm in a safe direction at all times.
- To install, remove the lower Picatinny rail and the factory barrel block.
- This handguard mounts by replacing the factory barrel block, which provides a very solid mount.
- The handguard slides over the barrel using high-temp o-rings just like the factory barrel block.
- The top screw on your factory barrel block will be reused in the same position. The others will be replaced with those included in the kit.
- Important: DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THESE SCREWS! They are threaded into nylon and will strip easily. They don't need to be very tight.

Excellent Solution
Minutes to install and definitely scratches the itch to cover up the extra exposed barrel while providing functionality. Will be returning for more Haga solutions.

The CMR-30 handguard (short)
The handguard looks great. I was not able to remove the second picatinny screw near the trigger so I left the picatinny on. I removed the barrel block ( you may need to come at it from the rear with a wooden dowel as it fits pretty tight). I Installed the handguard but I used the original screws I just had to tap them with a small bronze hammer to persuade them to start as the holes were a bit off. The orange O ring was black in my handguard. So, if someone needs a never used M-lock cover...

FDE color looks great with the black
This is by far the best aftermarket item for this firearm. The fit and finish is very nice. Installation was very straightforward. it took me maybe five minutes to fit this to my CMR 30. I have the FDE color and the black color of the extended hand guard looks factory. My hand can slide on the bottom comfortable with the Mlok cover replacing the picatinny rail. If your on the fence about the purchase of this product,I would say hell yes.

Could be smoother
For this price this could be smooth aluminum to match the guns finish. Anyone can just look and see it’s a plastic add on.

CMR 30 Handguard extension
Great! Completely changes the look of the rifle for the better. The M‐lok makes the bottom of the handguard smooth almost don't need to buy a grip.

I have always hated all that barrel sticking out the front of my cmr-30 not no more this short handguard make's the weapon look great. Thank's guy's for such a great product very easy to install.
Easy to install and very well built will shop here again.
