Product Description
The Haga Defense Extended Charging Handle upgrades your Henry U.S. Survival AR-7 by providing a larger, easier-to-grip surface for faster and more reliable bolt operation compared to the tiny factory handle, which can be hard to pick/pull out and grip. Precision-machined from 7075 aluminum with a knurled texture for positive no-slip charging—even when wet or wearing gloves—and a durable hardcoat anodize finish, this lightweight upgrade preserves the rifle's ability to disassemble and store completely inside the factory floating buttstock.

- No permanent modifications required
- The rifle and charging handle can still be stored inside the factory stock (see product images for storage example)
- Easy overall installation (see Installation Instructions below for details)
Always ensure your firearm configuration complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Installation Instructions
- Safety First: Before beginning installation, make sure the firearm is completely unloaded, the chamber is empty, and the safety is engaged. Remove the magazine, visually and physically inspect the chamber to confirm it is empty, and point the firearm in a safe direction at all times.
- When the rifle is disassembled, simply press the bolt in about 1/16" with your finger—this aligns the holes and allows the charging handle to be pulled straight out the side of the receiver. Installation is the reverse: press in on the bolt slightly until the holes line up, then insert the new charging handle.
