The Haga Defense AR-7 Handguard Adapter is a precision replacement barrel nut that enables the installation of free-floating AR-15 handguards on your Henry U.S. Survival AR-7, opening up modern customization while maintaining the rifle's lightweight and reliable nature. Machined from 7075 aluminum with a durable hardcoat anodize finish, this low-profile upgrade provides a solid mounting platform for M-LOK, KeyMod, or other AR-15 compatible handguards (not included).

Installation Instructions

1. Safety First: Before beginning installation, make sure the firearm is completely unloaded, the chamber is empty, and the safety is engaged. Remove the magazine, visually and physically inspect the chamber to confirm it is empty, and point the firearm in a safe direction at all times.
2. Remove the front sight from the barrel by pressing it out to either side.
3. Remove the factory barrel nut and replace it with the Haga Defense adapter (barrel nut).
4. Reinstall the front sight.
5. Attach the barrel to the action: Line up the barrel lug guide on the rear portion of the barrel with the slot in the upper forward part of the action. Lock the barrel into place by rotating the barrel nut—make certain that the barrel is secured tightly to the action.
6. Install your chosen AR-15 free-floating handguard as you would on a standard AR-15. Be careful not to overtighten the AR-7 barrel nut while tightening the handguard barrel nut—firm hand tightening of both is recommended for best results.
7. Optional: If the handguard barrel nut feels loose, apply standard thread tape for a more snug hand-tight fit.
